coppy.it is designed to be a "zero-knowledge" utility. We do not collect personal information, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or usage patterns. We do not use cookies or any local storage trackers.
2. Clipboard Content
The text you paste into coppy.it is stored in a temporary memory cache (Redis). It is automatically deleted after 3 days of inactivity or immediately after being read if you select the "Burn after reading" option. We do not log, inspect, or backup this content.
3. Data Sharing
Since we do not collect any data, we have nothing to sell, share, or lose to third parties. We do not integrate with any advertisement networks or third-party marketing services.
4. Security
While we use standard encryption to protect data in transit (SSL/TLS), coppy.it is a public utility. Anyone with the specific "Short Name" (ID) of your clipboard can access its content. Do not use coppy.it for highly sensitive information like passwords or credit card numbers.
